You better have your ticket because Witt Lowry and Jared Evan are about to take you on a ride. I heard about this collaboration a couple months back and I was just as excited as when it dropped today. "The Ride" is the second song Witt has released since his debut album DWOEO and he airs his frustrations with the current state of hip-hop. He has never been one to follow trends or act fake. Witt has always been authentic to himself and that is one of the reasons I support him so heavily. He also took the independent route after he was offered label deals. It helps that he collabs with other aritsts I like as well. I was really hoping Jared Evan would have gotten a verse but that's ok because he nails the chorus. Witt gets all three verses over Arcitype's instrumental. I like the new direction Witt is taking his music. He is evolving and progressing. "The Ride" has the potential to be something big.
