On Tuesday, September 6 The Rap Ritual held another event, this time featuring Wong Tune$, Freakquencee, and Famey. The night started off with DJ Slice getting the crowd amped up for a long night of performances. The open mic portion of the night shortly followed and a lot of great artists were able to touch the mic. One of the best performances of the night came from a 16 year old who has a promising career ahead of himself. I need to give a quick shout-out to Ankcious, Chocolate Brown, Noah Vinson, King Kalie, and KidNamedNOVA for always showing up to our events and showing love. Wong Tune$ was the first of the featured performers to go and he immediately uplifted the crowd with his positive vibes. He went on to impress the crowd with his on-point delivery and dance moves. Freakquencee came up next and showed the attendees why she should be a respected emcee. Starting off with her new single "Stephen Curry" she spit bars for 4 minutes straight without losing a breath. Can't wait to watch her grow and build a fan base. The final act of the night was Famey and you could tell he is a seasoned performer 30 seconds into his set. He controlled the stage like a veteran and delivered strong lyrics over incredible production. Overall, the night was full of hip-hop and good vibes. Make sure to come to the next one!
