Nigel 'Scott Morris' Guscott and his conglomerates have a big summer ahead of them and it all starts on April 27th with DAZE. DAZE is a 5-day music summit that will include showcases, panels, mixers, and more. Unlike other festivals and conferences, DAZE will give a portion of their proceeds to help fund the Deans List Tour and The Future Project Scholarship Program to help high school seniors further their education. Besides the great cause, DAZE will primarily feature indie artists and companies. Upcoming Hip Hop will be covering four out of the five events so expect photos and event recaps the day after each show.

Fans of the indie hip­-hop scene are no strangers to Brooklyn native Scott Morris, his packed out parties, or his Dean’s List Tour which is in it's fourth year. This year, Morris is taking his brand to the next level with the announcement of the S. Morris Scholarship Program launched in partnership with Syreeta Gates of Future Project. To celebrate this partnership and scholarship launch, Deans List Tour, Mor.Bookings, The Future Project, and D2LAL are presenting this five day music summit with DAZE­ a spring break music summit, with one purpose: to raise funds for the S. Morris Scholarship Program. Through their mutual love of hip-­hop culture and giving back, Scott and Syreeta have received numerous individual awards and accolades. Syreeta is well known for her undeniable connection with high school students. Scott is a well­known artist, promoter and businessman whose hopes are to make DAZE an annual event used to further the growth of the S. Morris Scholarship Program.
