One of the many challenges up and coming artists face (especially during live performances) is drawing interest from a crowd that has no reference to your music. People tend to distance themselves from anything unfamiliar, regardless of the quality. Birmingham, Alabama trio C1ub: AM is all too aware of this problem. After garnering a strong local following in the sleepy city and looking to expand beyond its limits, the C1ub knew this problem would have to be addressed for the sake of introducing themselves to a new audience, and they do so in grand fashion.

“After Midnight” is a 15 minute mini project that shows the collective, made up of emcees Chri$tyle, Jett, and LovenSin, mercilessly ripping through some of today’s most popular songs. Many purists would argue that this type of lyrical quality is what these instrumentals deserved from the beginning, but that’s besides the point. The crew go in on the “Panda”, “With That”, “New Level”, “No Flocking”, and “Project Steps” instrumentals. Each member giving memorable performances. Are you in the C1ub?
