The Hip-Hop industry better buckle down and get ready for a vibrant young man from Brooklyn, New York because Raww Blue has entered the game and is ready to stay. It is easy to recognize him when you hear his music due to his smooth baritone voice and syncopated rap style. His numbers have been climbing on Spotify, Youtube, and all social media platforms due to his latest single “Coming Up.” Get to know more about Raww Blue by reading what he has to say about music and life below:

UHH: In three words describe your sound?

ENERGETIC & JXGGY WITH A VYBE.

Tell me a bit about your upbringing in Brooklyn, New York and how has it influenced your music?

I was born in Brooklyn and moved upstate at 8 so most of my upbringing was there. Being upstate took a little getting used to being a city kid but I started doing music there. The vybe of the area made my music less gritty in way.

Who were your influences as a rapper and songwriter?

50 Cent for Rap. Get Rich or Die Trying changed my life haha. Troy Taylor and Ryan Leslie, hands down GENIUS songwriters. Do the research if ya don't know.

How long have you been writing and building your sound? When did you begin performing?

I have been making music since I was 12, nothing came overnight. I used to engineer myself starting out, make my own vids etc. I ain't hit my first stage until 14. I remember momma blue driving me to the city to hit BROADWAY. Told Her I was ready!

How do you feel about the current state of Hip-Hop?

I like where music is right now, everybody is doing what they want, we the NOW GENERATION.

What sets you apart from the mainstream artist of today?

I could show you more than I could tell you.

When will you be releasing your next album?

This year sometime. I have to meet with some more people and get that sound I need, we getting it right on this side!

What has inspired your next project and what kind of vibe are you attempting to offer the people?

Ima give them a sound from a Brooklyn artist that they haven't heard before, always positive, my music for a lot of people that's been doubted, showing them if I could do it ANYBODY can, I feel.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

Have a little more patience, things really going to come with hard work, HARD WORK BEATS TALENT BUT IMAGINE IF THE TALENTED WORKED HARD. Stay in Tunnel Vision.

You’re pretty popular. How do you balance being Raww Blue the artist and Raww Blue the man?

I mean I don't focus on it too much. Everybody can tell you I'm myself since back when, appearance changed but that's about it, as long as I got my family I'm good. Like my man, Travque says “Stay humble, Stay Workin.”

What would you tell someone who believes Hip-Hop is easy and anyone can do it?

It's more than meets the eye.

What can we expect from you this year?

More videos, more music, clothing, tours... I'll keep going lol. Honestly, I wanna take over the game in my own lane. I know what I want and how to get it and I'm not getting any younger, NOWS THE TIME! WOOOOOOAAA
