I first came across INDY's music when I saw him live at Webster Hall when he opened for Jared Evan. I had to congratulate him after his set because I was very impressed. An artist's live performance is very important to me. It will literally affect the amount of support I put towards an artist because a live show is the best way to touch the fans. A few days ago his manager or PR person hit my inbox with his first official single from his debut album The Red Notebook Story. "Blinded" features The Specktator's Collective's very own, Cyrus, who sings a catchy, feel good hook to lift INDY's true to heart verses that will leave you wanting more. If you have been following the blog, you know I love songs like this just as much as the aggressive, gritty hip-hop tracks. If the rest of his upcoming project is anything like "Blinded" I will be getting a copy.
