Soundset is more than a music festival for my friends and I. It has been a tradition ever since we stepped foot into the field at Canterbury Park in 2009. Every year, we pack into a car and drive over from central Wisconsin for a weekend that we look forward to every year. It has been amazing watching the festival grow and even more amazing that I have seen almost every I like perform on that stage. Looking back it is kind of insane to think I have seen everyone from Wu-Tang to Wiz Khalifa to Lupe Fiasco to Kendrick to Cole; the list goes on and then some.

This year was no different. My favorite performances from the day included Run The Jewels, Bas, Lil Wayne, DMX, Beast Coast, SZA, and Buddy. I love that Soundset showcases such a diverse group of artists. They book R&B legends, upcoming rappers, and everyone in between. Take a look at my photos below to see how I experienced the day.
