Where are all of you from? How old are each of you?

Why did you decided to form a group?

I've been in a lot of bands up to this point. Mainly pop, rock, and the sort, but have always written and recorded hip hop songs on my own for a long time. Never really knew how to break into it myself, until I met the guys and we all meshed really well. I think all of us were missing a certain element of our music that we found in each other by coming together.

How did you come up with the name, Assembly Music?

From the years Soul and Simphany spent together Simphany formulated 3 (A's) on how we wanted to approach music; (Being Attentive, Assertive and having Ambition) after discussing these values with the rest of the team we agreed to adopt them. From this soul ultimately came up with "Assembly" on the premise of all of us indoctrinating the 3(A's) into one statement.

You have "Assemble to Change Your World" in your bio. Explain that.

Starting a solo career by yourself can be very difficult. That's a long road up, and I've been on that path a long time with minimal results. Coming together with these guys, or assembling if you will, has changed my outlook on a lot of things, and made us all more confidence as artists about how to reach our goals. It's also a nod to the culture we live in right now. Coming together for love and support rather than keeping it separate and discarding people due to jealousy or hatred only breeds more of the same.

You just released a new project. What's next for Assembly Music?

We call it Cold Cutz. It will be our first EP! The First Single will be released by the end of July. We are looking forward to this project, it will not only showcase our ability to rap/sing, it will display our originality and production.
