Last night I was scrolling through Facebook as I waited for my train back to Queens and I saw Logic post "This mixtape is for my fans. I wanted to give you something for the Summer. Thank you for always supporting me. Enjoy. Available anywhere you listen to music." My first thought was "when does this drop?" That was until I clicked the link in the post and it brought me straight to the new mixtape, Bobby Tarantino. The last two songs Logic released, "Flexicution" and "Wrist" featuring Pusha T, both appear on the 11 track mixtape. The project comes as a surprise for his fans and most people on the internet including me.

Logic seemed to take a different approach to Bobby Tarantino than he has with his concept albums. This project is full of bangers and tracks that fans can turn up to. He even mentions that on a few different tracks also saying "this one is for the fans." I've been a fan of Logic since his mixtape days so I didn't know what to think at first. Initially I was a bit turned off because the project doesn't seem authentic but after listening and thinking about it; I gotta respect Logic's passion and work ethic. He is creating incredible albums so why not take a break and have some fun. And I think that's exactly what he did here. Logic really showed his diversity with Bobby Tarantino proving that he can hang with the top rappers in the game.
