Last Night (6-8-16) LYF (originally known as Nicky Fresh) invited me out to The Studio At Webster Hall for his opening performance for Bryce Vine. I showed up a bit late and only caught one song from the first act. LYF invited me backstage to meet everyone and talk about his career. But we can talk about that when we do an interview with him. LYF and his crew put on a fun performance; a bunch of young kids, making good music, enjoying live, and living young. In the middle of their set, they turned on popular club hits and got the crowd amped up for the end of their set. He finished with two songs featuring his good friend and super talented signer, Joe Pirrera. These two only make hits and their new track has potential to reach a bigger audience.
The headlining act, Bryce Vine was getting ready back stage when I met him. I didn't know who he was before that night but I am glad I was there to see him perform because this kid is talented. This was one of the best shows I have seen at The Studio At Webster Hall in a very long time. As soon as he stepped on stage, girls started screaming. He didn't waste anytime getting into his performance which I enjoyed. The excitement you get as a fan waiting for an artist to come out can be insane. Trust me, I know. I was blown away by his entire performance. He has great breath control and delivery. His fan engagement was lovable and often. I'm pretty sure he smiled throughout his entire yet. I don't blame him either, it was a really fun night for everyone. Bryce Vine makes full songs as well as raps like a boss. He mentioned something about a tour coming up but I'm not sure if he announced yet. Go see him, it will be a good time.
