NET is a 19 year-old rapper from South Florida. He was introduced to hip-hop at a really young age because his brother would blast music at home. Some of his influences are Mac Miller, Big L, Eminem, and Nas. Growing up, his teachers saw his talent with words. He always had the best poems in the class becoming the go-to kid for help. NET started making music when he was 15 and began taking it seriously a year later. At 17 he began releasing music to the world and building a buzz by the time he was 18. He released two projects in 2015, both racking up over 20,000 plays. NET has been bringing bigger artists into his hometown to do shows which should help his local buzz. Expect big things from the young emcee this year and into the future.

“Insomnia” might be NET’s realest song to date. He talks about everyday life while flowing over the chill instrumental. He mentions his dreams and how people see him in different lights. Storytelling might be the main focus of the track but NET flexes with his metaphors and wordplay.
