West Coast representer The West Ghost dropped a 5 track EP (bonus track included) entitled Son of Sorrow. With tracks like "Worthless" and "Don't look at me", The West Ghost' focal point of the whole EP is him analyzing his own life experiences and expressing that through his ability to make music. What some would call neo hip hop, Sons of Sorrow carries the weight of worthlessness, uncertainty and depression. The lyrics are straight to the point and thought provoking and he doesn't shy away from speaking his mind. I loved the vulnerability displayed and the emotion brought forth by West Ghost' lyrics. It gave it all a hire meaning in itself because I mean let's be real....we've all been where he's been before.
