Every time a submission hits my inbox, I never know what to expect when I hit play. Sometimes it's not even hip-hop music. Sometimes it's a track I don't enjoy. And sometimes it's a track that is dope. That was the case for Papi Jamon and Jay Hollins new track "So High". Although it's been over three years since Papi Jamon released a full album, he hasn't lost his touch. He has been more focused on the lyrics and that is a direction I think all artists should take. Jay Hollins supplies a beautiful chorus to separate Papi's lyrical verses and they both flow over the SLOT-A (ADD-2, Neak, Mike Schpitz) produced beat. This track is the outcome of a bunch of talented musicians getting together to make something new and special.
