I was thrilled when "SOS" landed in my inbox. One reason is because it is a dope track and the other is that Taiyamo Denku is from Wisconsin. For those of you that don't know, I was born and raised in Wisconsin before moving to New York a couple years ago. My senior project in college was a social media network for hip-hop people. I've always been about pushing the local scene forward and now that I don't live there, I still want to show love. The Milwaukee emcee digs deep to construct a song dedicated to the hard knock life on The Genius assisted, "SOS" or "Same Old Shit". He is just one of many helping grow the hip-hop scene in Milwaukee.
