Music videos are becoming more and more important for upcoming artists because they can go viral overnight and show fans your visual artistic side. Philadelphia rapper Marv Mack has has done that with his latest video "Own Crib". It hasn't gone viral yet but it has all the attributes of a video that does. It's dope. It's unique. And it was released via Russell Simmons' All Def Digital channel. Marv Mack makes alternative hip-hop which is refreshing in the oversaturated rap industry and it's starting to catch on nationwide. The emcee rose to underground notoriety after releasing his debut single “Paula Deen” (ft. in VICE, Music Times, Philly.com, EATER) in April 2015, which addressed the racial unrest that had erupted throughout the country. On January 8th Mack released his widely anticipated debut album Golden Bandaids, which has already received praise fromCult Classic USA, RESPECT Mag + more. The album is the purest form of artistic expression and fans and critics have been very quick to pick up on that.
