With CheekiPowPow on vocals, Lo Anderson on guitar/vocals, and Iymaani Abdul-Hamid on viola, the three ladies have created their own hip-hop, neo-soul sound fueled by powerful energy of spoken word, R&B, and the use of strings. Heard on their frequent play of “Waves,” their harmony is simply beautiful - whether laying our head to rest, uplifting us on tough days, or enjoying the day, the song does it all.
