Santi is an emerging rapper from Philly with a unique flow and interesting delivery. After years of struggling, he became a respected poets in his region and eventually found himself at the front door of hip-hop. He’s quickly making a name for himself through his music and story. In his first music video for his single “Angels”, Santi delivers a passionate performance with strong lyrics and versatile flow. This isn't your typical hip-hop or rap song and I love it. More artists need to break the trends and be unique. He said the song was inspired by the yearning to break the cycle of stillness from the inside out. It’s a story of getting free– what you live vs. what you imagine. The music video, directed by Scuba Productions, is a mixture of gloomy claustrophobic visuals and elegant camera work. Even though the video has a lot going on, the attention is on the artist and his lyrics. Really great work for an upcoming artist's first video.
