A Letter To My Fans is a 5-track EP that was released as an interim to Sleep On Me, Jay Thursday's debut mixtape. The full project was set to be released this May but was recently pushed back. On the intro track, Jay Thursday explains that the project needed to be perfected, but in light of the fans asking for the music, he released a compilation of various artists he's worked with thus far in his career. This project is labeled one for the true fans of early Jay Thursday music.

Known for his soulful and hard hitting beats, Jay Thursday is a talented producer capable of creating music for everyone. Some of his influences include The Neptunes, Timbaland, Swizz Beatz, Kanye West and Just Blaze. The Flushing Queens native, was raised in North Carolina before returning to New York City at the age of 13. These experiences can be heard in throughout his lyrics and sound. Jay says, “if you can’t feel the music when you hear it, that means that I haven’t done my job.”
