Start off by telling us who you are & where you’re from.
We are SWB, a trio of music artists growing up based in south East London, specifically Greenwich borough. Our genre is mainly rap and grime but we're not afraid to step into other genres.
How long have you been working together?
As individuals we initially started rapping at 11 years old, being in year 7 and going to the same school. We officially came together as a group a year later. So around the ages 12/13 in year 8.
What/who are you biggest influences?
Our biggest influence would probably be anyone coming from nothing and making something of themselves. Not just musically but in general. It takes a lot of hard work, dedication and motivation not to lose faith when aspiring to achieve something.
If you could have the chance to work with any artist living or dead, who would you choose and why?
We all have individual artists we would like to work with. One being Chip. We all remember sitting in class when his Westwood freestyle came out it was proper inspiring for us at the time. We still watch it now in fact. J Cole as well. He's a sick artist from production down to lyrics. Also he is a big inspiration — from getting turned down by Jay Z to being his first signing on his label Roc Nation. Finally, Drake. I mean who at this current time is hotter than Drake?
What do you hope to accomplish through your music/career?
One main aim is to prove the people that doubted us wrong, and the people that believed in us right. Also we want to inspire people and let them know that achieving their dream is attainable.
