Top 3 Favorite Tracks: Shaman, Collection Plate, Dirty Parables
Brooklyn native Deuce Ellis comes through with a funky, lyrical project. Filled with great quotes, he gives the listener motivation as well a look inside his own mind.

The album starts quickly with heavy synths and heavier bass. The reason I opened this review with calling the project funky is because on each track, Deuce lets the instrumental breathe. Instead of hearing four minutes of straight rhymes, he allows the instrumentals to be the only featured artist on the tape. Deuce Ellis clearly knew what sound (and message) he wanted to portray to the listener and executed it nicely. 'Collection Plate' has a somewhat chill vibe, while tracks like 'Book Of The Dead' and 'Dirty Parables' are more hard hitting.
The lyrics in 'Nothing Is Sacred' will make you rewind and listen a couple times over. This is definitely a unique project. Deuce gives the listener a good quality mixtape, as well as leaving room for himself to grow. He can always try to grow and experiment on different sounds. He seems like the kind of artist to have no fear to experiment with shit. Go ahead and download.
