Florida rapper, Cliz is back on our pages but this time with a band-The Clockmen. Cliz & The Clockmen gave twist on a few of Cliz's old songs from Personal Journal Vol. 1 by recording them live. The EP consists of three tracks; “Shenanigans”, “Do Not Be The One…”, and a merged song of “Let Me Talk To ‘Em Real Quick” and “What To Call This?”
Cliz began his journey with The Clockmen earlier in 2016 when he linked up with them to create a different sound that resonates with both Hip-Hop and Rock heads. The band’s line-up includes Cliz (MC), Aric Frank (Bassist), George Bikos (guitarist), Paul King (guitarist), and David Curran (Drummer). Throughout the months of 2016, Cliz & The Clockmen have received tons of praise from every event they have performed at due to their merging styles and unique charisma, on and off the stage.
The Cliz & The Clockmen EP has a great mix of sounds. All three tracks were performed and recorded very well. The EP has more Rock than the original recordings but you will get that when you add a live band. I think it's really dope that Cliz is doing stuff like this with a band. Not many artists are so this will help him stand out. This project also gives you a good preview of what their live show is like.
