Last night (6-24-16) I attended and helped TruthCity put on one of his monthly shows. The idea of his tour is to get rid of the middle man aka the promoters. Truth got fed up with promoters asking for a fee or to sell tickets to perform so he created his own concert series (Moment Of Truth Tour). Each one of his events, he will book the venue, curate the lineup, pay the artists, book vendors, and so much more. I've never seen someone work so hard so that others could get the shine they deserve. We had the show at AVIV in Brooklyn which turned out to be one of the worst run venues I have ever been to. The venue owners did not follow through on what was originally agreed upon and actually cut TruthCity's last song. We will never be doing business at AVIV Brooklyn ever again and we recommend that you don't either. If you would like to know more about how unprofessional our work with Aviv was, please email us. Other than the crap venue, the night was a big success. A bunch of people came out and vibed with us all night long.

Every act that performed put on a great show. Oya Noire set the night off with a memorable performance. Her beautiful voice filled the room and the audience starred in aww. Steff Reed followed up and rocked out. He started out on the keys but by the end of the set, he had his acoustic guitar. Oya and Steff created a great vibe for the show. Rome Streetz and Chyna Streetz were the first hip-hop act and they killed it. They used each others energy to create a solid performance. Famey followed them with a very dope set. He was the only artist I didn't know before this show and I'm glad I got to see him. He performed like a true veteran in the game. Before TruthCity went onstage, I hosted a 15 minute freestyle cypher with four artists (BS, Crimdella, Leah Dawn, Dizzy Senze) I hand picked. The crowd loved it. Last but not least, the man of the hour hit the stage. TruthCity had a smile on his face from the second he walked on the stage to the second he left it. Fans were signing along. Balloons were flying through the air. He even performed two brand new tracks from his new album. It was a perfect end to a great night.
