Every year Triple S Music Group hosts a non-profit Stop the Violence Cookout in Gaithersburg, MD for their Montgomery County community. The group started this event three years ago to help bring the community together, help promote camaraderie and promote an overall brotherhood /sisterhood among neighbors. They host a 3 on 3 basketball tournament with a small PA system and one of the hottest DJ's in our community. All music will be radio friendly, oh and LOTS OF FREE FOOD! There is a park for the kids to run free and play with appropriate adult supervision, face painting and other activities, so all ages are welcome. The community wants and needs an event like this, however costs can add up. Therefore, they are still looking for new supporters to help me fund this event. This year we will be hosting the Stop the Violence Cookout at Morris Park off of West Deer Park Road on May 29th. We are expecting over 300 people in attendance, just as we had last year. This will be our first year to host a kickball tournament, which has been a request from our participants. Why don’t you take a few hours from your hectic, stressful day and join us for the event. It is a great way to network with the community and meet new people; crowds you may never had the opportunity to meet.
