Last night (4-29-16) was one of the most inspiring nights I have had in a long time. TruthCity curated a show on his Moment Of Truth Tour that he headlined and the result was incredible. He hand picked all five opening acts (The Art of BKC, KidNamedNOVA, Sirr, Ida Divine, & Alex Phoenix), booked the venue, curated the vendors, booked the photographers, and more. TruthCity gave everyone an opportunity to shine and that they did. All the performances were top notch and the support was unreal. I've never seen so much love from a group of people. Over 110 people showed up throughout the night proving that he is onto something special. Right before TruthCity performed, Upcoming Hip Hop presented a freestyle cypher that I personally announced. We picked 8 artists who we know would bring bars and had two UHH photographers in the building to capture the moment. TruthCity started out his set with an inspiring speech were he thanked everyone there for helping him succeed. The highlight of his set was when he performed "I Don't Wanna Sell Weed No More" and everyone in the crowd joined in. At the end of his set, the band kept jammin' and everyone went up to TruthCity to show their love. The night was definitely one to remember.
