“Crush On You” is an honest, heartfelt love song which marks the first official release from Qui, a young Rochester, New York-native who now resides in the borough of Manhattan, which features elements of Lil Kim's internally known, well-received record "Crush On You" featuring Notorious B.I.G. Known as a rapper, singer and songwriter, Qui is a multifaceted, composing genius who strives to be competitive in R&B, Pop and Hip-Hop markets. "Crush on You" is a loose track, not belonging to any particular forthcoming project but shared a means of reinstating her position in the industry and letting her fans know that she is back. Qui on what made her write "Crush On You": "I wrote this song because I had an actual crush on someone that I saw in a YouTube web series! I figured the only way to approach this person and not seem like the rest is to do what I do best and write a song. Eventually it didn't work out, but I got a pretty dope song out of it."
