Review by DJ Slice @THEDJSLICE
Top 3 tracks: "Shotgun" "Savage" "Squares"
This will be my first time reviewing a instrumental mixtape. This was a bit of a challenge for me. Being a producer as well, I had to put my own producing preferences to the side and just judge what's given to me.

Producer, Arbz, talks to the listener on the first track. 'This is a project built upon love, hate, change, stress, fear, freedom, and power.' The Black Tape consists of 11 instrumentals and is put together very well. All of the tracks have original melodies and hard hitting drums.
The beats Arbz is making are definitely 'new school' hip-hop sounding. Heavy synths, epic strings, super fast hihats, and dope bass lines. If you like driving around with beats blasting while your friend freestyles in the passenger seat, this is a must download for you. If you need to put a 'Going Hard At The Gym' playlist on your phone, this is a must download for you. Each instrumental has three or four sections where there's a switch up in the instruments or a crazy build up. This keeps the listener at attention. Arbz definitely knows what he's doing and what sound he wants to bring to the table.
Going in to this review, I was expecting to be disappointed. I wasn't. Very impressive work. All of these beats are DOPE! Very well mixed and put together. Listen and let us know what you think about Arbz!
