10 Rappers Buzzing Right Now

Hip-Hop is infectious. Always in search of the next big artist(s) and always wanting new music to satisfy an unquenchable thirst. Constantly searching, we wanted to give Hip-Hop a debriefing on buzzworthy new artists on the rise right now that you may want to pay close attention to. 

  1. Billionaire Buck 

The known Compton indie sensation known for his previous breakout tracks, "Karma" and "Rich Before I Die". Buck was unexpected sidelined as his buzz reached a fever pitch. After careful planning and recording, Buck returned this summer with new video, "That's Fact". After the video reached over half million views on YouTube. Buck quickly followed up with another smash in, "Hood Scratch". A money motivating upbeat track that reestablish Billionaire Buck's popularity on the L.A. streets. "Hood Scratch" is a kickstart to a ton of new music, leading the established star back into the limelight and in the right direction to the top.

2. J'Demul

Predicted to put St. Louis back on the map. J'Demul is praised by fans for his street life imagery. His introspective lyrics and laid back sound has landed him features in Okayplayer, DJBooth, and VIBE this year alone. Recently, J'Demul released his new video, "Pair of Dice", a ride through the city to discuss endless potential and possibilities. J'Demul dropped his new album, 17th, over the summer. The highly-anticipated 10-track project has received rave reviews. J'Demul will transition from regional midwest star to nationwide new sensation in no time. 

3. India Love

Known for her reality television stint and astonishing 3.7 million following. Will.I.am signs his own female recording artist for the current Women's revolution in Hip-Hop. India Love has become a certified star with her sexy, raunchy, and seductive music like her debut single, "Loco". Identifying herself as a visual artist, the Compton-native is the total package. Backed by the award-winning entertainer, India is about to supply her fanbase with tons of great music. As history shows, Hip-Hop adores the fearlessly expressive female artists (i.e. Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj). rPromising new music and videos monthly, the 22-year-old bombshell has already released a stunning World Star Hip-Hop premiered, new video for the track, "Trouble".  Her rise is a must-see. 

4. Gorgeous George

Hot off of the release of his hit remix featuring Yo Gotti, Gorgeous George The Pimp God is back with his new single,"Bagg". The track was just released via Ghazi Shami’s EMPIRE. Gorgeous George (A.K.A. Mr. So Drippy) doesn't do anything on a small scale including making sure that he always secures the "Bagg" for every single thing that he does. With millions of views on World Star Hip-Hop and opening/headlining shows with the likes of 2Chainz, Plies, Lil Boosie, Young Jeezy, K Camp, Meek Mill, Kevin Gates and etc., to the now infamous F**K RICH GANG show in Jackson, MS with Lil Wayne, a NuMoney Inc. event. Gorgeous George has truly come full circle. He recently finished up yet another national tour with Scarface. Word has it that GGPG is currently in negotiations with several major labels. It really looks as if 2018 is destined to be “GORGEOUS”.

5. Jermaine Elliott

Jermaine Elliott has established himself as a talented songwriter to the stars. Ready to step into the limelight with his own sound, Jermaine took 2018 by storm with several big singles like, "They Say" and "Beaches of America". Jermaine Elliott has a trendsetting style that focuses on making people move. Radio-friendly, Jermaine is a bonafide breakout star with a lot of a-list influence in his back field. Jermaine's EP, Send For Me continues to spread and sets up his high-profile new single, slated for a late-2018 release.

6. Noah Da Don

DMV indie Noah Da Don put the world on notice in 2017 with his breakout hit, "Huh". Peaking our interest with his debut Ricardo's Way mixtape, Noah makes us a believer with his sequel tape. Backed by DJ Self (Cardi B), Ricardo's Way 2 is a hustler's anthem. Upon release, the new project reached impressively staggering numbers of streaming. This summer, Noah claimed the ears of a more diverse fanbase, creatively building his visual platform on MTV and Revolt. The rest of 2018, Noah continues to produce more visual content off his Ricardo's Way 2 for fan-favorites. If you haven't already, catch you on both Ricardo's Way one and two now.

7. Casino Mel

Currently riding high off of the groundbreaking success of his already street classic mixtape aptly entitled “Casino My Religion 2” hosted by DJ MLK and the hood legend Bigga Rankin and setting the stage with his latest single the hood classic “Trap Ni**a” featuring Gucci Mane. Now with the release of the video for “No One” your best bet is to put it all on the Casino, Casino Mel that is. “Every day you profit you win” these are words to live by from your soon to be favorite rapper Casino Mel. Casino Mel just released his video “No One” via the Carolina’s hottest label, Five Star Empire. Mel is blessed with the rare ability to write timeless classics that often challenge the mind while soothing the soul, this ability is apparent on the self-reflective and openly honest new track “No One.”

8. Warm Brew

Warm Brew sound serving as a fusion of classic rap and more diverse and eclectic inspirations, the trio have amassed almost 2 million Spotify streams on previous track "I Swear", and are best known for their eclectic 6-track Diagnosis EP, a production made up of their sumptuous Cali tones, which have earned the group an army of coastal followers. The West Coast trio delivered their latest video, "Psychedelic" last week via OPM/Red Bull. The wave they are on right now has got everyone wanting to ride along.

9. Mike Darole

Los Angeles-by-way-of-Bay Area recording artist Mike Darole (formerly known as M.I.C.) has been on a steady grind back to the top of two years now. Sidelined due to a near fatal gun shot wound, Mike is finally back in the limelight with impressive new hits like "Say Less", "Lockdown", and and newest single, "25x 4". Known for his charm, playboy rhymes, and lavish hooks, women can't seem to get enough of talking about Mike Darole. Over the summer, savaging his established fanbase, Mike kept the momentum going with his new EP, 4.27. Back at the forefront, Mike shows no signs of going anywhere but up leading into the end of the year.

10. Marcus Latrill

Reaching 3-million plays on Soundcloud is no easy feat no matter who you are. Like Houston's own Marcus Latrill, reaching three-million plays on a single song like his hit, "Late Night Hype" is proof that he is the next big star to come out of Texas. Already known for his collaborations with fellow Texas sensations Dice Soho and Sancho Saucy, Latrill is paving his own lane with his trippy trap party style. Giving fans a lifestyle that includes fast living, beautiful women, and non-stop partying and they love every minute of it. Marcus dropped his latest video, "Band After Band" a couple weeks back and the numbers are skyrocketing. Texas is on to something with this one.
