North Carolina-based artist, Say’hu released “The Upright Man” a few weeks ago and it's starting to pick up traction. The new single is inspired by a former Burkina Faso militant leader. On the track, the Gambian-American emcee talks about leading and individuality, both traits any young leader should embody. nuKe lays down a nice trap beat and Say’hu comes with lyrics which you don't really hear in trap music. I think there is a new wave of artists that are doing this and it is a sounds that I like; hard beats and real lyrics. I could definitely see people turning up in the club to this and listening to it at home.
