On January 19, 2016 we (Upcoming Hip Hop) hosted an artist showcase on the lower east side in New York City. We had the venue for two hours and we took full advantage of it. We had the homie DJ Slice on the 1s and 2s as well as hosting the evening. We used SonicBids to book the artists, which is a website that does just that. Help artists find shows and help promoters fill lineups. We picked four artists from the 70 that applied and were very happy with the outcome. All four artists (D. Green, Jean Valeur, Mazen, Solo for Dolo) put on great performances and got the crowd into it. Noah Vinson was our headliner that we picked because of his growing positive reputation he has in NYC. We are very grateful for the artists showing up on time as well as all the fans that were there supporting. It was a huge success in our eyes. Hope to see you at the next one.
