Looks like The Weeknd and PARTYNEXTDOOR won't be the only new acts to break out of Mississauga, Ontario in recent years. Joining the wave is Ghana-rooted recording artist Osei, The Native. In new track, "Bernie Mac", produced by Greg McGovern and Say Nada. Osei exhibits his content of being an impressive cultured well-rounded artist.

“You don’t understand, I ain’t scared of you motherfuckers," is the inspired quote from legendary comedian Bernie Mac that starts this slow burning track. In "Bernie Mac", Osei speaks to overcoming adversity in your own right. In the hook of the song Osei calls out a common Toronto term “Two Twos” which is equivalent to phrases like “matter a fact” or “true say” the rest of the hook, speaks for itself…"
