Everything Grand. It was my second time shooting for Grand Khai, and this time at the Vintage Out Look Fashion Show at The Alternative Gallery in Allentown, PA. It’s always awesome seeing local artists coming together and putting on events like this. Hosted by Allentown clothing line Vintage Out Look, the show featured multiple performers as well as other local brands such as Apex and Free Flow, to name a few. The doors opened at 7 PM and the fashion show started shortly after, followed by the performers of the night, Grand Khai taking the stage at 10.

Something that Grand Khai never fails to bring to his performances is energy. As soon as he took the stage he called everyone up closer to really liven things up. Khai is an extremely animated and exciting performer, opening up with one of my favorite songs by him “Is It Good To You”, he was jumping all over the stage and interacting with the crowd nonstop. His set was short since there were other performers that night, but it was jam packed with good music and an even better time.

Theres a reason I come out to shoot Grand Khai’s shows as often as I can. He makes great music, his performances are lit, and he’s just a dope guy overall. After the show we took a few more pictures, hung out for a bit, and then headed out. Something I really took away from this night was how important connecting with other artists in your area is. It’s amazing how a small yet tight knit community can put on an event like this with awesome performers and clothing lines.
