Last night (7/14/16) TruthCity's Moment of Truth Tour stopped in Brooklyn at Friends & Lovers. Truth booked a truly impressive lineup of diverse artists and musicians starting with Bart Tesoriero who played a great acoustic set. He has such an incredible voice, I just stood in the crowd in awe. He was accompanied by a trumpet player as well which added a nice twist to a few of his songs. After Bart finished up, Ezinma hit the stage with her violin. I was the most excited to see her perform because she plays classical music over popular hip-hop beats. She absolutely killed her performance. I've never seen someone so talented do something so unique. I will be talking about her performance for weeks. Heart The Artist came next with a great mix of singing and rapping. He showcased both his ability to hit certain notes and drop endless bars. His energy on stage was contagious.

Justo Ontario followed with a top notch performance. He stole the show, in my opinion. Watching him on stage was like watching a super like Micheal Jackson or Prince. He made and looped his own beats on stage and projected his voice in the most professional way. I could tell he is a seasoned performer and talented musician. I'm still blown away. I can't wait to see him again. Kay Anthony took it down a notch to tell some personal stories through his tracks. He even performed a few tracks from his brand new album The Man That I Am Now. Last but not least, the man of the hour, TruthCity hit the stage. He started out with his "Mass Appeal Freestyle" and got the crowd to chanting. He followed it up with a few classics from his debut album, The Prologue, including "Summertime" "Ain't Thinkin' Bout You" and "Ghetto House Party". He also performed two brand new tracks from his upcoming album, While You Were Sleeping, titled "The Family" and "Get Rich". "Get Rich" had the crowd fully turned up including myself. It was the perfect song to leave the audience with.
