Brooklyn rapper, Danny Delavie lands his first premiere with us with "Roll Caliber" which is his debut single from his upcoming album High Tide. The gritty production lays the perfect landscape for Danny to project extreme confidence in his lyrics. The hook gives a nice break between the fast-paced verses. As you dive deeper into the words, you will find that the song is a direct reflection of his emotions towards his life this year. I feel like Danny had to get a few things off his chest and he does that on this track through metaphors and clever rhyme schemes. He is just another good example of the unique music Brooklyn produces.
He will be kicking off his first headlining tour in New Zealand sometime later this year so make sure to catch him when he comes to your city. I have seen him perform and it's worth checking out. I don't know the release date for his upcoming project but I will be sure to keep you updated as I find out.
