If you have been following my posts for a while, you know that I love when artists tell a story with their lyrics. Alfred Banks does just that with  "A Beautiful Song" & "Bless You" and it's not a happy one. In the song Alfred Banks addresses the suicide of his brother who suffered from schizophrenia which must have been really tough. I'm sure he is using music to get through the pain and help his legacy live on. It's a deeply personal video with a powerful message. As Alfred prepares for the funeral, he writes a heartfelt letter and reminisces on all the good & bad times they shared. Alfred plans to use his music as a platform to help shed a light on such a stigmatized topic in our society and reach out to others who are experiencing the same struggles everyday. The video will be followed by a three track EP titled A Beautiful Prelude set to be released on March 20th, 2016 in honor of the 2 year anniversary of his passing.
