Clinton Hill is one of my favorite neighborhoods in New York City. When my dad lived in Fort Greene, I would get off the C train a stop early and walk around Clinton Hill to get chill vibes of beautiful brownstones and architecture. The same way I feel about Clinton Hill is the same way I feel about KOTA. KOTA The Friend embodies the eclectic spirit of Clinton Hill so well. The Brooklyn native creates a soulful, melodic song with "Custom." I love the whistling in the background, along with KOTA's passive-aggressive flows and stories of this complicated city we live in. If you are looking to relax, put on "Customs" and enjoy.
