Premiered on Complex, critically-acclaimed Seattle Hip-Hop artist Dave B is thrilled to announce that his luminescent new album Pearl will be released on November 17 with the release of his captivating and passionate lead single, “Sweetest Thing.”

Capitalizing on his feature with fellow Seattle recording artist Macklemore new album, Gemini, on the song “Corner Store”. On “Sweetest Thing”, Dave B combines Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B and Funk elements with vocal versatility, lyrical dexterity and boundless creativity in his latest effort resulting in a multifaceted lustrous album.

Inspired by the song’s co-producer Elan Wright, “Sweetest Thing” was one of the early recordings in the making of Dave’s new album. Dave B on “Sweetest Thing”:
“With Elan getting married at the end of the summer, I was inspired to write about that deep, timeless kind of love. What does it feel like to have a soulmate? That love must be the sweetest thing that you’ve ever known.”

Pearl was produced by Dave B himself along with established producers Elan Wright, Nima Skeemz, and Darius Rios.

Dave takes “Sweetest Thing” on the road as he goes on the “PDA” Tour with Manatee Commune to showcase Pearl to his fans upon its release. Tour begins early November til mid-December. Hitting Utah, Oregon, and Washington. Dave B is also slated to perform with Makclemore at the Key Arena December 23rd for the Sold-Out Gemini Tour’s homecoming show.
