A couple weekends ago, I was invited to Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, New York to take photos for Grieves and deM atlaS. I had never been to the venue before so I didn't know what to expect. When I arrived, I was happy to see a big stage and a beautiful venue. I say that to say this. There are three great hip hop shows coming to Knitting Factory this fall and I am trying my hardest to attend all of them.

The first of the three shows is Brother Ali (September 12 - Own Light Tour) and the one I am most excited for. I mean, I have been a fan of the Rhymesayers artist since 2007. HIs new album, All the Beauty in This Whole Life, is incredibly by the way. I highly recommend checking it out. ¡Mayday! with The Late Ones, Inner Family Legacy, and Bodega Dream is the next show which will be held on October 15th. I've never seen ¡Mayday! perform before but I am excited because I heard the group brings the energy. The last of the fall shows will be held on November 7th and will feature Astronautalis and Ceschi. Knitting Factory has a great track record of booking great bands, I'm sure that show will be entertaining as well.
