[Photos From last Night] Grieves and deM atlaS at Knitting Factory Brooklyn

This past weekend, I grabbed my camera and headed to the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn to shoot an artist that I have been listening to since 2009... Grieves. Accompanied by his (Rhymesayers) labelmate, deM atlaS, Grieves was on tour promoting his new album Running Wild. He looked comfortable on stage which makes sense because he has spent a lot of time in New York City in the past. I arrived about 10 minutes into deM atlaS' set and as the crowd was starting to get warmed up. They were throwing their hands up and engaged in the performance which is always dope to see.

Shortly after deM atlaS stepped off the stage, Grieves came out with his band and a big smile on his face. He seemed very happy to be back in Brooklyn. He made everyone feel like they were at home. Throughout the night, he played a mix of his old music, fan favorites, and of course–the new stuff. The room was filled with good vibes and great music all night. I can't wait until they make their way back to the east coast.
