HotRod SKM is a new artist from Huntsville, Alabama who's developed a strong partnership with Atlanta's YFN Lucci, first collaborating on "Make It Out" in April. The pair is back again with a smooth new track called "La Familia," which arrives with a music video directed by Marc Diamond. The video finds HotRod SKM seducing a woman in an Atlanta penthouse before joining Lucci on the rooftop to take in a view of the city below them. Both guys operate with a similarly melodic style, able to inject plenty of emotion into their flows, which makes romantic-leaning tracks like "La Familia" come easy. HotRod SKM stands out for the way he can switch up his pacing at a moment's notice, stretching out syllables by laying down an extra layer of his Alabama twang.

"La Familia" appears on HotR SKM's brand new mixtape, Brothers in Arms, a joint project with TC Gambino, also a Bama native.
