KOTA has become one of my favorite artists AND producers in the past few weeks. The Brooklyn, NY native has a sound that is refreshing in the hip-hop industry. His newest release, "Forks", is self-produced and features Madwiz and Ol' Soul, who are also from Brooklyn. All three artists take a different approach to their verses making the song very diverse. Everything about New York City is diverse. From the music, to the people to the food. It's pretty crazy how many different sounds come from each borough. It seems like every week, I find an artist who is incredibly talented and lives less than 10 miles from me. Expect to see more of KOTA on UpcomingHipHop.net because he is going to have a big year.
