Our good friends, Art LovHer is putting together another spectacular event in New York City on Friday, October 23rd. Art LovHer is a collective of artists that create platforms for independent and marginalized artists to connect with undeserved communities. Through art events like open mics, recorded jam sessions and gallery exhibitions, Art LovHer builds community through creating and maintaining safe spaces of artistic exchange, like our quarterly jam sessions at Funkadelic Studios.
Every couple months, they invite underground and upcoming artists to the studio to share new projects. All of the artists have an opportunity to be featured on the official Art LovHer mixtape (available at artlovher.bandcamp.com). Musicians, emcees, vocalists, & poets of all kinds are welcome to contribute your art & energy to their magical nights. This weeks featured artists include Sole Rebel, Noni Rene, and many more. We will be in attendance
