A genre called 'Southern Bounce,' a sound I'm becoming all too familiar with thanks to rapper TUT, the resonance of his easy going track called "Outside" produced by Ktoven, makes for the perfect bed for the Tennessee representer to lay his lyrics over. Growing up a Preacher's son TUT puts us on to what happens outside of church and the daily struggles faced throughout his neighborhood. Addressing the people around the way he raps "Might need to get up off your ass ngga or either lay up off the grass ngga y'all ain't gonna get no bread n*gga stop it turn all your profits to ashes..." Basically telling them all their doing is going broke by spending money on weed amongst other unnecessary things. The laid back beat with a drum that gives it a little umph is in perfect alignment with TUT's mellow tone making for a great narrative to what goes on in almost every 'hood you encounter.
