Taking us back to the 90's old school feel of block-parties, grandma's kool-aid, b-boy and b-girl stances, and Mos Def, The HighBred (LP) brings two vocal artists, Singer-Songwriter/MC Chordz Cordero (Jamaica, Queens) & MC Sir Manley (Muskegon, MI), together with producer Boonie Mayfield and DJ Eminent to provide the cuts and begin a movement of new Soul infused Hip-Hop.

As with many artists, HighBred seeks to be immortalized themselves in their art by reinventing the abilities of their genre.

"HighBred" is a play on words. "High" -meaning, the quality of life, wisdom, love, and honor we strive for and seek everyday on our journey and "Bred" -meaning, a new breed of artists who live freely, and truly express themselves passionately through their art form! Together these words represent the fresh new sound that's created when merging the styles of this collective.
