OfficialHitGod.com is a growing team of music producers, audio engineers, and graphic designers. They specialize in helping build artist/musician branding and appeal. We were fortunate enough to get to know a little bit more about them and what they do. Start off by telling us who you are and where you’re from.

I go by Citizen. I'm located in the Philadelphia area. I produce for all genres of music and run OfficialHitGod.com with a team of producers, songwriters, graphic designers and industry blog writers who strive to help aspiring artists achieve there dreams.

What services do you offer via OfficialHitGod.com?

We offer a full range of media and branding services geared towards mainstream rap, hip hop, r&b, and pop music. Our services include beats and instrumentals, brand design (logo, album, cover, flyer and promotional art design), mixing and mastering for ALL genres, and loads more — including industry tips and insight, gear reviews, and contests.

Recently you've updated your site. What improvements can artists and clients look forward to?

Our site grows every day. We're constantly working towards the bigger picture. Recently we've hired a new graphic designer along with completely redesigning our graphic design page for ease of use, allowing artists to purchase there graphic designs inline with the rest of the site. Besides that we are currently working towards a new section, offering songwriting services and hook/choruses from some amazing new singer/songwriters. Before summer hits, we'll be running our latest contest with almost $1000 in prizes. Our site upgrades and changes by the week, so keep checking back to see whats new!

Why should artists be interested in hiring you for mixing, mastering, etc?

Besides working out of some of the largest studios in the Philadelphia area, our mix engineer also has a degree from SAE Institute. With almost 10 years experience under his wing, you can expect the best. Still curious? We've got some before and after examples right on the site to see for yourself.

What is the most rewarding part of doing the work that you do?

We offer our services because it's what we enjoy doing and we're good at it. Accumulating 60+ years experience between the team, we strive to offer only quality products! The end result and what we get to hear, see, and experience once the artist has put there touch on things is the greatest satisfaction.

Lastly, what tips can you offer to others hoping to get into production, mixing, etc.?

Read, read, read. Many people learn the basics and start running. They continue to stay the same and not grow. They spend years wondering why they're stuck at a ceiling they cant break through but aren't willing and/or don't think to reach out and find the answers they need. Knowledge is power. Take in every bit of information you can and continue to hone in on your craft. Also, be yourself. So many people strive to stay the same and then wonder why their music is not being heard or found. Regardless of if it is beat production, mixing and mastering, or graphic design, uniqueness and the ability to think outside the box is key!
